Mary Kathryn Wimberly is a fine art photographer and art consultant based in Dallas, Texas. Mary Kathryn holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography from the University of North Texas and a Masters of Fine Arts from Texas Woman’s University.
Photographing the urban night landscape, the artist focuses on areas of natural and artificial light as they affect the visual perception of the land. Use of long exposure and alternative processes lead to images with ghostly impressions of light, movement, and the location’s momentary inhabitants. Her photographic work revolves around themes of spirituality, landscape and perception.
